Massey Ferguson 165

The Massey Ferguson 165 is part of the 100 Series that began production in 1964. The MF165 is a row-crop tractor that was built in the Massey Ferguson factory in Detroit, Michigan in the USA. The Massey Ferguson 165 is a popular second-hand choice. The model proves to be a reliable tractor despite its age. The relatively simple design compared to other tractors makes the MF165 easy to operate and repair. This makes the tractor ideal for novice drivers and vintage enthusiasts. 

The Massey Ferguson 165 was offered with one of four engines, the 3.3-litre Perkins diesel engine, the 2.9 Continental petrol engine, the 3.5-litre Perkins diesel engine or the 3.5-litre Perkins petrol engine. All four engines are four-cylinder and have liquid cooling. The MF165 has power steering, mechanical dry disc brakes and an open operator station. In terms of transmission, the MF165 was equipped with one of three systems: a 12-speed manual transmission with partial power, a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed manual transmission.
